My dream job was to work on large scale system software (ranging from embedded to cloud-scale), work with smart, respectable people, coach and mentor colleagues, promote state-of-the-art technology, and work directly with customers on creating solutions for real-world problems, all while learning something new every day. I didn’t find such job, so I created one for myself.

Developed internal business intelligence solution and data warehouse. Combined variety of source data from dozens of internal systems and stake holders into insightful information presented in a self-service portal. Designed denormalized OLAP data models, created a data warehouse, querying mechanism, and built reports for IBM top management across geographies and business units.
- GEmbedded Linux EngineerGREEN CenterJan 2008 - Mar 2010 (2 years 3 months)Developed Linux drivers and kernel modules for an exotic MCU architecture (SH4), debugged BSPs, designed and implemented communication protocols (CAN, RS485) for parking monitoring and access control systems. Ported dozens of open source applications and libraries to the embedded platform. Developed custom user-space apps in C/C++ and an industrial graphical touch control interface with X Server. Collaborated with J2EE back-end and front-end development team, hardware developers, and mechanical engineers.
