I am Vin, a Dual-Degree International Business candidate at HTW Berlin and Tecnológico de Monterrey, currently on exchange at North Park University, majoring in Finance with additional coursework in Political Science. Alongside this, I’m engaged in J-1 Academic Training as part of an external internship program. Fluent in four languages, with an understanding of three more, I bring strong communication skills and a global, intercultural understanding. I’ve lived in seven countries, gaining professional experience in six, spanning industries such as finance, business development, strategy, consulting, administration or early stage venture building. Growing up in an immigrant family with financial ups and downs, and as a first-generation student, I’ve learned to approach each step with intention and drive to find and create opportunities. This began relatively early, as at age 8, I was already bartering old Gormiti toys for snacks at school, unknowingly picking up my first lessons in value exchange, negotiation and how curiosity can open doors (as well as securing a steady snack supply in the process). Motivated by a desire to grow and explore, I view each challenge as an opportunity to keep learning, adapting, and moving forward. While still early in my journey, I am excited to continue broadening my horizons and embracing the opportunities that lie ahead. Nov 2024
