I am a purpose-driven English language educator with international experience in applied linguistics, academic research, tutoring, teacher training, and classroom teaching across diverse age groups. As a Chevening Scholar and postgraduate student at the University of York, I’ve developed a strong foundation in English language education, critical inquiry, and inclusive pedagogies, complemented by hands-on teaching experience in both the UK and Colombia. My work in English education is deeply rooted in a commitment to equity and empowerment. I have taught learners from children to adults, trained pre-service and in-service teachers, designed student-centred, culturally responsive learning environments, and supported language development in both academic and community settings.
