I am an edtech entrepreneur for the past 5 years, working across universities and corporates to solve the problem of skilling and employability. I work in the areas of stock markets and blockchain, providing trainings, jobs and workshops.
In terms of my background, I was raised in Oman, a small, peaceful and beautiful country in the Middle East. After completing my schooling, I wanted to pursue further studies, which was not possible in Oman, so I landed up in Pune, popularly known as a student city in west India. I completed my Engineering in Computer Science, post which I got campus placed at a national BFSI Firm - ICICI Securities. After 3 years of being an intrapreneur ( I got the opportunity to set up a new trading desk within the firm at a time when India was going online in its trading practices, and the retail consumers were getting into stocks), I went on to pursue my Masters in Business Administration from Manchester Business School, an ivy league institution in UK.
As an MBA, I took up various strategic roles in broking firms and consultancies for about 8 years after which I partnered with 2 other co-founders to begin this edu-tech startup - TrakInvest. I did this as I was looking for a challenging, rewarding career along with an intent to satisfy my quest of entrepreneurship.
At TrakInvest, I have gained the broadest experience while setting up the firm. As a Co-Founder, I am responsible for Marketing, Customer Service and Business Development by building university partnerships. I have also help set-up the academic team, productising various courses.
