Tuca Barcelos

I'm Tuca, nice to meet you! I'm a UX/UI Designer from Brazil and I've been traveling down this road since 2021, but before that, I'd already had been working as a Graphic Designer since 2019. My life has always revolved around creative work. Be that as a child drawing on every possible surface I could find, or as teenager balancing three high school bands at once, and even as a teacher during college, coming up with compeling ways of making kids be interested in history and grammar. Although I loved my time as a teacher and historian, creative work always pulled me back in, so in 2019 I started working again as a freelance graphic designer while finishing college, and during the COVID lockdown, I dedicated myself to learn the ins and outs of UX/ UI Design and Front-End languages such as HTML and CSS. Today I dedicate myself fully to design work, putting all the knowledge and skills I've honed through years of practice across multiple disciplines, to become a designer who creates not only data driven interfaces, but empathetic driven experiences.
