Even in a challenging year, there is much to be thankful for. Today we celebrate our second anniversary and we share the impact that together we have achieved. We hope this is just the beginning and we can create safe communities where more and more people can live, heal and grow. In Venezuela, 68% of children under 5 years of age are malnourished, and 33% of infants between 0-2 years of age, suffer from chronic malnutrition and stunted growth. Every 6 hours one child suffers a violent death in Venezuela. Maternal mortality also increased by 66% and child mortality by 30%.
