Contributed to the development and maintenance of Ascend Ops, a robust MLOps platform designed to compute credit scores using machine learning models trained on credit bureau data. Promoted to Software Engineer in October 2024, continuing to build on responsibilities within the Ascend Ops platform, focusing on integrating ML workflows, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with data governance standards. Worked on Ascend Ops, Experian's enterprise-grade MLOps platform used for deploying and managing machine learning models that calculate credit scores using extensive credit bureau data. Gained hands-on experience with cloud services, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD workflows to support ML operations. Contributed to the platform's documentation and internal tools to streamline onboarding and operational efficiency. Worked as a code reviewer for Java, python and other programming languages for developing, training and fine-tuning a code generator Large Language Model. Developed and implemented multiple Natural Language Processing (NLP) projects leveraging state-of-the-art transformer models such as Hugging Face and PyTorch. Spearheaded the creation of a question answering model aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the Integrated Disease Surveillance Program. Collaborated with a team of researchers to fine-tuning question answering to improve the model performance, improved accuracy by 50%.
