For 5 years I was based in the George Office and initially managed the Garden Route area. These contracts included Cango Caves, Hostel Catering and Retirement. We were awarded the catering of the PetroSA Oil Rig and the Refinery catering. The objective when I moved to the Garden Route was to grow the small branch and develop the strength of the area. I was able to identify staff with the skill sets required to manage the growth and train them into more senior management positions. They have successfully in these positions to date. After 2 years we decided to branch into the Eastern Cape, and I opened several contracts in Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage, East London, and Grahamstown.
