    In Ecuador, at the cantonal level, there is information from the databases of the Municipal Cadastres. In these databases it is possible to find the characteristics of the buildings, and in some cases the location and mapping of these buildings is available. Analyzing the characteristics of the buildings, it is possible to relate these to their structural behavior. To determine the degree of vulnerability, the Municipal Vulnerability Analysis Methodology proposed by a project of the United Nations Development Program in Ecuador will be followed. The degree of vulnerability of buildings to 4 types of threats will be analyzed: Flood, Landslides, Volcanoes and Earthquakes.
