Was part of the team when Goldfields Ghana Limited – Damang Mine, Tarkwa Mine and its Accra Office were migrating to Active Directory (AD). Being part of the migration team, my ultimate mission was to ensure that all users coming from the various sites still have their data in terms of personal data, old emails and current emails etc. were safe and intact As part of this massive exercise, the email server being Mdaemon was also migrated to Exchange server since active directory works perfectly well with exchange server and more importantly to conform to company’s standards in the area of Information Technology. More so, I have developed an effective inventory system to keep track of all IT assets, reporting on availability and shortages .Monitors available IT inventory, materials and products in order to ensure that employees have access to the equipment needed.
