Working for a project of a Peruvian FinTech company named Culqi, I was responsible for the migration of a Java Spring API to a NodeJS Lambda Function for AWS, aimed at enhancing performance for charge requests originating from POS and online payments. I initiated the project by developing a Lambda function that validates and enriches requests as an independent service, which is currently in production and has successfully boosted performance by 3 seconds. Additionally, I utilized SQL in conjunction with PostgreSQL as the database engine for developing Lambda functions, ensuring efficient data management and retrieval throughout the project.
