I am a Senior Test Lead with over 15 years of experience in leading teams, overseeing change management and deployments, testing initiatives and enterprise-wide test process management. My approach to QA has always been unique in that I don't just test the application, I ensure the quality of the overall project itself. I ensure that every deliverable, be it release pipelines, system requirements documentation, procedural documentation, executive reporting or a simple work item, are all validated and checked for accuracy with the same care that I put towards application testing. I believe that everything on a project is full circle. For example, if a Product Owner performs inaccurate dictation of acceptance criteria, it can lead to errors in testing. To avoid such a scenario hitting testing and causing project delays, I take the extra time to validate requirements and cross-check with the details in the correlating product backlog item. Meeting deadlines while ensuring we deliver the highest quality product to the business is my number one priority. I always go above and beyond what's expected of me as a Test Lead because I care. I care because I love what I do and I'm extremely passionate about achieving project success.
