I am a General Manager Operations who is executing large civil engineering projects in Oman. My career path included three projects in India as a civil engineer, leading five projects in Saudi Arabia as the Chief Construction Engineer and a total of twenty-two in my current position. The quality of my work has attracted widespread industry recognition. I was finalist for the Project Manager of the Year award in Oman ,2017 and was shortlisted for Executive of the year award last 2019 for setting extremely high standards of safety, securing high-value projects and upskilling local Omanis. The scope of work that I have done is very diverse and includes not only structural engineering, but also high value interior design and even aesthetics. I have led projects in the commercial, military and residential sectors, and even the construction of an artificial island, with all its associated infrastructure! including PEB structures, Slipforming etc. Besides my technical acumen, I also deliver commercial value in many ways. I understand how to source material at the most competitive prices from all over the world to add to value engineering, how to negotiate sub-contracts and to find additional opportunities in post-contract work.
