Job DescriptionAs a Senior DevOps Engineer at Regard, you’ll scale and secure the infrastructure behind our healthcare AI platform. You’ll design, build, and own systems that make our applications reliable, secure, and easy to deploy, both internally and within customer environments. You’ll collaborate with engineering and customer IT teams to deliver seamless integrations, drive automation, and champion DevOps best practices.As a senior engineer you’ll lead initiatives, set technical direction, and mentor teammates, all while keeping our infrastructure resilient and future-proof.About RegardOur mission is to bring world-class healthcare to everyone. We want you to join us.Our Tech Stack:Backend: Python (FastAPI, Flask), PostgreSQL, Redis, CeleryInfrastructure & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), AWS (SQS, SNS), GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, DataDog, OpenTelemetry, PulumiResponsibilities:Automate workflows and CI/CD pipelines to speed up delivery and reduce manual toilBuild automated testing frameworks that ensure every deployment is reliable at scaleStrengthen our security posture by implementing controls, conducting audits, and applying remediationsLead and support client integrations, ensuring smooth deployments into healthcare IT environmentsEvaluate and implement new tools, sharing best practices across the teamAct as a technical leader and mentor within the DevOps teamQualifications:BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience/certifications5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role3+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experienceProficiency with Python scriptingDeep experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi)Expertise with CI/CD pipelines and tooling (e.g., GitLab CI)Proficiency with observability systems (e.g., DataDog, OpenTelemetry)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST)Expertise with GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, FluxCD)Passion for leveraging AI in engineering and healthcareHybrid Work | Location | Work AuthorizationFor this role, Regard is currently only considering candidates who are authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship, and are within the New York City, Los Angeles, or San Francisco metro areasOur expectation for this role is to be in the office 2 days per week. We expect the base salary range for this position to be $165,000 to $200,000. This is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
