Responsibilities


As the Linguistic Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our linguistic services. You will be responsible for overseeing the linguistic evaluation process, conducting arbitrations, facilitating team meetings, and implementing strategies to improve our team's quality metrics. 1. LQE Analysis: • Analyze daily evaluations received from Google for the jobs we deliver. • Keep track of evaluation trends and patterns to identify areas for improvement. • Share feedback with linguists involved to ensure continuous learning and enhancement of linguistic proficiency. • Proactively develop clear solutions to complex problems. 2. Arbitrations: • Handle cases where errors can be arbitrated through the Google platform. • Utilize your linguistic expertise to resolve disputes effectively and efficiently. • Ensure adherence to quality standards and guidelines during the arbitration process. 3. Team Meetings: • Conduct regular team meetings to provide feedback, discuss evaluation results, and address any concerns or issues. • Communicate special instructions or updates from clients or management to the team. • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment to promote teamwork and excellence. 4. Metrics Tracking and Improvement: • Keep track of key quality metrics related to linguistic accuracy, consistency, and client satisfaction. • Analyze metrics data to identify trends, root causes of errors, and opportunities for improvement. • Develop and implement measures, processes, and training programs to enhance the team's linguistic quality and performance. • Responsible for completion of tasks (OTD) as well as Quality metrics within the assigned function stream. • May contribute to the preparation of presentations for QBRs or other Quality initiatives. Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Language Studies, or a related field. • Proven experience in linguistic quality assurance or a similar role within the language services industry. • Fluent in English (both written and spoken); an additional language at a fluent level (both verbal & written) preferred. • Strong understanding of linguistic principles, grammar, syntax, and style guidelines. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and facilitate discussions. • Prior experience with Google evaluation platforms is desired but not required. • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
