About Wider CircleWider Circle partners with health plans and provider groups to deliver community-based programs that connect neighbors and improve health outcomes, focusing on health equity and social care for Medicare/Medicaid populations. As a 1099 Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in recruiting frontline community health professionals who directly impact communities across the United States. You will be supported a growing talent acquisition team and collaborate closely with HR and hiring managers to ensure a seamless recruitment and onboarding process.Key ResponsibilitiesSourcing & RecruitingSource, attract, screen and hire candidates for frontline community health roles across the U.S., including Community Health Workers, Care Navigators, Case Managers, and similar positions. Create job listings in Workable and manage applicant pipelines.Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for high-volume and recurring rolesConduct phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, availability, and cultural fit and make recommendations about whether to move candidates forward.Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within our Applicant Tracking System (Workable)Close 8-10 roles per month.Candidate & Hiring Manager SupportCoordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managersServe as a primary point of contact for applicants throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experiencePerform thorough reference checks and summarize findings for hiring managersAssist with offer letter preparation and pre-employment documentationOnboarding SupportPartner with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance to Day 1RequirementsRequired Qualifications:Associate’s degree1–2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or HR coordinationPrior recruiting experience in healthcare, community health, or social services rolesExperience with full-cycle recruiting fundamentals, from intake through offer/closeExperience managing multiple requisitions simultaneouslyExperience sourcing candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, or similar job boards and resume databasesExperience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) with strong data hygieneInterest in community health, healthcare access, or social servicesAuthorized to work in the United StatesPreferred Qualifications:High-volume and/or geographically distributed recruiting experienceExperience using Workable ATSFamiliarity with Community Health Worker (CHW) certification basicsBilingual proficiency in English and SpanishBenefitsWhat Wider Circle OffersHourly compensation of $21–$24/hour depending on experienceEvaluation for FTE conversion in 90 daysThe chance to build something that matters — and to see the direct impact of your work on communities across the country
