The Representative’s role is to achieve company-designated professional services sales targets, and as part of that prospect, qualify and build relationships with existing customers in their assigned territory. The Representative must be proficient in qualifying leads, identifying decision makers, determining customer needs, presenting, and explaining the benefits of PowerSchool Professional Services solutions, building strategic business plans, overcoming objections, and closing sales.ResponsibilitiesDescriptionThe Solution Sales team oversees the selling of various product lines to K-12 school districts. Team members have a deep knowledge of our products and sales best practices, with a focus on growing revenue.Your day-to-day job will consist of:Using a solution sales approach to sell PowerSchool professional services to K-12 schoolsProduct Knowledge – Expand knowledge and maintains continual understanding of designated applications and client business processes. Acts as a subject matter expert for overall Professional Services & the Customer JourneyManaging and submitting weekly forecasts against assigned quota and leading overall services product solution team goalsPresentation Execution –Able to lead effective Professional Services sessions to varied audiences and customer roles during the sales process.Consulting Skills -Responsible for determining client needs and making appropriate recommendations for current and future value-added services, products, etc.Developing and executing marketing campaigns focusing on specific territory and services offeringsCommunication - Liaises with clients either on-site, by phone or email. Sets project and software expectations.
