About the Role: - We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing remote team supporting U.S.-based businesses. - The ideal candidate has strong bookkeeping fundamentals, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, and a solid understanding of U.S. accounting practices. - This role requires someone who can work independently, maintain financial accuracy, and communicate professionally with internal teams and clients. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities for U.S.-based clients. - Process and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). - Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. - Record financial transactions accurately and timely. - Maintain the general ledger and supporting documentation. - Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on collections when needed. - Process vendor payments and maintain vendor records. - Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. - Prepare financial reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports. - Review financial data for discrepancies and resolve issues proactively. - Support external accountants and tax professionals during reporting periods. - Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information. - Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices. Required Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience supporting U.S.-based clients. - Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online. - Proven experience managing Accounts Payable (AP). - Proven experience managing Accounts Receivable (AR). - Proven experience managing Bank Reconciliations. - Proven experience managing Financial Reporting. - Proven experience managing General Ledger Maintenance. - Strong understanding of U.S. accounting principles and bookkeeping practices. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. - Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated workspace.
