This hunter role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new opportunities with mature Service Delivery providers and MSSP partners, while supporting partner-led growth across mid-market and enterprise accounts.The ideal candidate has experience selling cybersecurity platforms and brings a consultative, advisory-based selling approach. They can lead both technology-led and business-level discussions, articulating outcome-focused value to Service Providers and MSSPs. They understand how to position technology that enables partners to deliver managed security services, threat detection, SOC offerings, SIEM/XDR capabilities, and related security services to their customers.This role is designed for a self-starter who thrives in complex, security-focused consultative selling engagements with both technology and business sponsors. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to develop pipeline, build new relationships, and create net-new business opportunities in a fast-paced and competitive cybersecurity market.What You’ll DoDrive net-new logo acquisition through proactive outbound prospecting and territory developmentOwn the full sales cycle from prospecting through closeDevelop and execute strategic account plans within assigned territory/accountsBuild relationships with CISOs, Security Leaders, IT teams, and executive stakeholdersPosition MSSP and cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer security challenges and business outcomesConduct discovery meetings, presentations, and solution discussions both virtually and in-person as neededPartner closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Channel, and Customer Success teamsMaintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM hygieneConsistently achieve and exceed revenue and activity targetsRequirements5+ years of B2B technology sales experience3+ years of cybersecurity or MSSP sales experienceProven success in hunter/new business acquisition rolesExperience selling managed security services, SOC services, SIEM, XDR, MDR, cloud security, or related cybersecurity solutionsDemonstrated ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospectingExperience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholdersStrong executive presence and presentation skillsConsistent track record of quota attainmentPreferred QualificationsExperience selling into enterprise or mid-market organizationsFamiliarity with cybersecurity frameworks and threat landscapesExperience working with channel partners, service providers and MSSP ecosystemsKnowledge of modern security operations and detection/response solutionsWhat Success Looks LikeConsistent generation of qualified pipelineNew logo acquisition and revenue growthStrong territory penetration and relationship developmentAccurate forecasting and disciplined pipeline managementTrusted advisor relationships with customer security teamsWhy Join UsOpportunity to join a rapidly growing cybersecurity organizationHigh-impact hunter role with strong earnings potentialCompetitive compensation with uncapped commissionsCollaborative culture focused on innovation and executionAbility to directly influence growth and market expansionThe salary for this role will be between $240,000 to $320,000 OTE (on-target earnings) with a 50/50 split including bonus and equity.
