Founder Associate Location: London (1 day in-person near Finsbury Park, 1 day remote) Commitment: 2 days/week - Monday & Tuesday preferred, flexible for the right person Pay: £150/day Reports to: Founder & CEO, Aces High London Ltd Deadline: 4pm, Friday 18 September 2026 About Aces High Aces High is a London-based corporate experiential learning company that uses poker - with zero gambling - as a framework for teaching negotiation, decision-making, and performance under pressure. We work with blue-chip clients including global tech companies, international law firms, leading financial institutions and major consultancies. Aces High has been featured in the Financial Times, BBC, CBS News, CityAM, Metro, The Standard and more. Founded in 2025 by ex-investment banker and serial entrepreneur, Jo Living, the business is growing fast and gearing up for a major spike in visibility in 2027, whilst positioning for scale and potential investment. We are looking for a Founder's Associate to work closely with Jo across the sharp end of a scaling startup - sales, CRM, decks, and general founder support. You will also spend some of your time with an associated social enterprise that we support that will bring an additional sense of purpose to the work. The Role You'll work directly with a founder - who’s already scaled and sold a tech company and who's building again. This represents a rare, hands-on seat for anyone who wants to understand what actually happens inside an early-stage company: sales pipeline, investor materials, operational grind, and the day-to-day judgment calls that don't show up in a case study. No poker knowledge required. This is a B2B-startup generalist role that happens to sit inside a training company that has poker as the hook. What you'll be doing: Managing and updating the CRM — keeping pipeline, contacts and follow-ups current Sales outreach — prospecting, drafting and sending emails, booking meetings Running logistics on our new location offers and business development events Building and refining decks — sales decks, investor decks, client-facing materials Supporting fundraising admin and investor communications General founder support — research, scheduling, ad hoc projects as priorities shift Who This Is For An early-career professional who's hungry for genuine startup exposure, is willing to sell, and wants a direct line into how founders operate - a strong stepping stone into startups, Venture Capital, or entrepreneurial careers. You might be a good fit if you have: This role will be perfect for someone who is ambitious for their own career in enterprise and investment and is looking to work hard and prove themselves alongside a seasoned founder. You will have strong academics, have entrepreneurial spirit / founder DNA and lean into sales and marketing. You will be full of ideas about how to grow, but not afraid of hard work and the less glitzy work of relentless outreach. You will have developed excellent customer service probably through some service industry experience. Whether you’ve waited tables, worked on a shop floor or slogged through telesales, we want someone who has dealt with customers before. You will have: Some background or interest in finance, marketing, entrepreneurship or sales as well as some experience in frontline service industry roles Strong written communication and unrivalled attention to detail Comfort with CRM tools and outreach (or a fast willingness to learn) A genuine curiosity about startups and how early-stage businesses are built Self-starter energy - strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously with minimal support Ideally some experience of a corporate environment or B2B service provider (not essential) Resilience and preparedness to be actively selling, including cold outreach Willingness to gain additional experience and exposure around the edges e.g. attending events, supporting with photography, being proactive on social media Why This Role Direct, close working relationship with a founder who has already built and exited one company and is now scaling a second - rare access to real front-line startup hustle Live fundraising exposure while the company is actively raising capital A genuine launchpad into startups, VC, or founder-support careers Flexible structure: one day in person near Finsbury Park, working alongside the founder, plus one day remote (Monday / Tuesdays preferred, but day choice open to discussion) Potential to scale into additional hours or even a full-time role where budgets permit Logistics Location: London (1 day in-person near Finsbury Park, 1 day remote) Commitment: 2 days/week - Monday & Tuesday preferred, flexible for the right person Pay: £150/day Reports to: Founder & CEO, Aces High London Ltd Deadline: 4pm, Friday September 18th Eligibility: Right to work in the UK required Please note, we cannot sponsor visas, so please confirm you have the right to work in the UK in your cover email.
