PRIMARY FUNCTION
The GoHighLevel CRM & Automation Specialist is responsible for architecting, managing, and optimizing our core CRM infrastructure, lead pipelines, and automated marketing ecosystems inside GoHighLevel. This role requires an absolute GHL power user who understands how lead flow, tagging, triggers, webhooks, and sub-accounts function at an advanced technical level.
While website development experience is required, it serves primarily to bridge the gap between web assets and GHL: building custom lead-capture forms, embedding conversion elements, and ensuring flawless data flow from web landing pages directly into GHL workflows. We are not looking for a pure web designer; we are looking for a CRM Architect who can connect standard web components to a high-converting GoHighLevel engine.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. GoHighLevel Architecture & Advanced Workflows
Complex Workflow Development: Design, build, test, and troubleshoot multi-step, conditional GHL workflows, pipelines, and automations for lead nurturing, instant response, SMS/Email sequences, and client onboarding.
Pipeline & Snapshot Administration: Manage sub-account setups, engineer and deploy custom snapshots, organize tags, standard/custom fields, and maintain strict hygiene across all contact lists and deal stages.
Form & Web Integration: Build, embed, and style high-converting GHL forms and surveys across web properties. Ensure custom fields, hidden UTM inputs, and mapped parameters transfer key data straight into the CRM without data loss or error.
Integrations & Webhooks: Connect third-party platforms, lead sources, and web assets via native GHL integrations, webhooks, and Zapier/Make to ensure instantaneous, error-free lead routing.
2. Website Support & Technical Connective Tissue
Form & Funnel Support: Build, maintain, and embed conversion landing pages and web forms designed explicitly to feed leads into CRM automations.
Technical Maintenance: Handle minor website content updates, basic hosting/domain settings, and plugin checks to support active marketing initiatives—focusing on functionality and lead capture rather than heavy web design.
Troubleshooting: Rapidly identify and fix broken web-to-CRM connections, form submit issues, or lead routing failures in real time.
3. Tracking, Analytics & Conversion Infrastructure
Tracking Architecture: Implement GTM containers, GA4, Meta Pixels, and Meta Conversion API across web forms, GHL landing pages, and external web assets.
UTM & Data Integrity: Build standardized UTM structure across campaigns to ensure lead source data passes cleanly from the web click into GHL custom fields and down to attribution reports.
QA & Testing: Rigorously test all forms, web hooks, and triggers using GTM Preview Mode, Meta Pixel Helper, and real-time form tests before deployment.
