Role OverviewPay Rate: $80 – $130 / hour (Output-based compensation)Location: Fully Remote (Global)Commitment: ~15 hours / week (100% flexible schedule—work anytime, including weekends)Job Type: Independent ContractorWhat You’ll Work OnSolve, validate, and review computational materials science and engineering tasks for AI evaluation.Run simulations (atomistic, molecular dynamics, electronic structure, continuum, or electrochemical).Use Python and programmatic/CLI tools to generate inputs, automate parameter sweeps, and analyze outputs.Evaluate AI-generated reference solutions for scientific correctness and physical validity.Qualifications RequiredEducation: MS or PhD in Materials Science & Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (with a materials specialization).Skills: Solid proficiency in Python and programmatic scientific tools (e.g., pymatgen, ASE, LAMMPS, Quantum ESPRESSO, PyBaMM, FEniCSx, or CLI equivalent).Experience: Computational materials modeling, simulation, or materials R&D (from academia, national labs, or industry).How to ApplyRoles fill quickly (often within 48 hours).
