Requirements and responsibilities

We're hiring a QA Engineer at GrapheneOS.This is a technical, hands-on QA role focused on testing GrapheneOS, our first-party Android apps, Vanadium, and release candidates. You'll reproduce bugs, triage user reports, collect diagnostics, maintain regression coverage, and work directly with developers to prevent issues from reaching users.We're looking for someone with strong Android testing experience, solid technical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This is not a checklist-only QA position.🌍 Fully remote, worldwide🕒 80+ hours per month; full-time preferred📄 Official independent contractor agreement with our Canadian non-profit💵 Compensation paid in USDC🔐 Work on open-source privacy and security technology used by people around the world
