Responsibilities
We are seeking qualified Med/Surg night-shift agency nurses with recent travel experience, Med/Surg expertise, and familiarity with Epic.
The onboarding process includes:
* One 8-hour day to complete modules, policies, and required tasks
* Up to two 12-hour orientation shifts on the floor
Candidates must be ready to work independently from day one.
Unit details:
* 4 Medical unit with 25 beds (11 private, 7 semi-private)
* Nursing ratios: 5:1 during day shifts, 5-6:1 at night, with occasional total care patients
Patient population:
* Wide variety, primarily stroke patients not requiring TPA, comfort care, or hospice
* Post-operative patients including amputations, drains, chest tubes, and feeding tubes
