We are looking for a Forward Deployed AI Architect to lead technical delivery for our enterprise clients. You will own the architecture, the code, and the outcome. This is a high-impact, part-time freelance role for a leader who continues to code.
What you will do
● Architect & Deploy: Design and implement scalable AI architectures (RAG pipelines, Agent orchestration, LLM integration) that solve specific business problems.
● The Playbook: Oversee 2-3 concurrent missions, establishing the technical standards and quality gates for other engineers on the project.
● Build for Reuse: Identify patterns across client projects and turn them into reusable modules for the InstaAgents platform.
● Client Bridge: Translate complex business requirements into robust technical roadmaps and act as the technical authority in client interactions.
Who you are
● Veteran Builder: 7+ years in software engineering or data science, with experience building ML systems from the ground up.
● Player-Coach: Lead a small team of engineers while remaining hands-on, reviewing code, merging PRs, and debugging production issues.
● AI Native: Understand the realities of deploying LLMs in production, including latency, cost, hallucinations, and evaluation.
