You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and QA teams to design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks while exploring opportunities to leverage AI in improving testing efficiency and coverage. This is a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in the world.LocationZact is a global company with multiple locations across US, Europe and India.We provide 100% Remote Working Option.Location is not a constraint for this role.What You’ll DoDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using TypeScript, Python, Pytest, Playwright, and related technologiesCreate and maintain API tests using PostmanCollaborate with engineers and QA teams to define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive coverageIdentify tests and workflows that can benefit from automation or AI‑assisted testingExplore and leverage AI tools to improve test generation, defect prediction, and test optimizationWrite clean, maintainable, and scalable test code using best practicesWork with CI/CD pipelines to trigger automated tests and integrate them into release processesTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve test failures in coordination with development teamsContribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test frameworks, and toolingWhat We’re Looking ForAt least 5 years of proven experience as an SDET, QA Engineer, or Software Engineer with a focus on automated testingStrong programming skills in TypeScript or PythonHands‑on experience with Playwright, Pytest, and PostmanExperience with IDEs like Cursor or equivalent for test development and workflow efficiencyUnderstanding of AI concepts and how they can be applied in testing and automationExperience with CI/CD pipelines and triggering automated testsAbility to design test frameworks, write reusable test code, and identify automation opportunitiesStrong problem‑solving skills and attention to detailComfortable working independently in a fully remote, distributed team environmentExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across time zonesNice to HaveExperience with other test automation frameworks or languagesExposure to AI‑assisted test generation or analytics toolsKnowledge of SaaS, B2B, or enterprise software environmentsUnderstanding of performance, security, or accessibility testingMinimum Education RequirementBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
