Job DescriptionLocation: KuwaitThe Paramedic will utilize their knowledge and proficiency of evidenced-based medical practice and Intl.SOS protocols to manage unexpected and emergent situations and treat a variety of injuries and illnesses in a prompt and professional manner. The Paramedic will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct and indirect medical care to patients in emergent situations. She/ he will competently function as a member of the team to provide patient-centred medical care in the pre-hospital setting.Provides 24/7 365 emergent EMS response on the site.Provide paramedicine pre-hospital support to patients within the site, outside the site, and during transfer to local higher levels of care.Ambulance operations, EMS response and the subsequent support of the medical team within the clinic are the primary responsibilitiesAssist medical providers with medical procedures and treatments as allowed within licensed scope of work.Assessment and documentation of the patient’s vital signs, chief complaint, medical history, prescribed medications.Report all changes in patient’s conditions to the medical provider.Proactively and independently administer basic paramedic level care within the standing orders and SOPs without exceeding your licensed scope of care.Assist patients with basic care and activities of daily living, as needed.Provides support and education to help patients make responsible health decisionsMaintains Area of Responsibility (AOR) supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed suppliesRestocking EMS units once supplies are received as well as assisting other clinic operators with restockingCross-train to work within in the clinics, emergency room, and inpatient units.Other duties as assigned.
