Responsibilities

We’re seeking a highly skilled Engineer with 3-4 years of substantive SRE and application support experience. This role requires demonstrable expertise in ITSM frameworks, enterprise monitoring solutions (Splunk preferred), and solid application support operations. You will independently contribute by handling incident response, monitoring, and system reliability within a hybrid work environment. This position suits someone eager to work autonomously with strong technical precision while collaborating closely with DevOps and SRE teams. What You’ll Do: * Monitor system health, alerts, and logs across a suite of business-critical applications using enterprise monitoring tools, preferably Splunk. * Respond to and triage incidents quickly, performing initial troubleshooting and root cause analysis. * Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and SRE teams to resolve complex issues and validate changes. * Participate in Technical Response Team calls, daily operations standups, and post-incident reviews. * Support ITSM best practices around Incident, Problem, and Change Management using tools like ServiceNow and Jira. * Document incidents, root causes, and corrective actions with technical precision. * Identify automation opportunities to reduce repetitive manual work and improve system observability. * Maintain clear, technically accurate communication with cross-functional teams to ensure transparency during incidents and system updates. What You’ll Learn: * Deepen your understanding and application of SRE principles, uptime, latency, and performance monitoring. * Master DevOps and automation concepts, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code. * Gain proficiency in ITIL-based ITSM practices. * Work with leading tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Jenkins, and ServiceNow. Qualifications: * 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering, application support, or IT operations, with at least 2.5 years in SRE roles. * Proven expertise in ITSM frameworks and enterprise monitoring, especially Splunk. * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and handle immediate productivity expectations. * Excellent verbal and technical written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues and resolutions precisely. * Familiarity with Linux/Windows environments and SQL databases is advantageous. * Passion for learning modern infrastructure automation and SRE best practices. * Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (part onsite, part remote). Why You’ll Love It: * Join a collaborative, high-performing hybrid team that values autonomy, continuous learning, and operational excellence. * This role is an ideal career growth opportunity for a dedicated professional ready to contribute independently while expanding their expertise in reliability and DevOps engineering.
