Description & responsibilities:
*Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure efficient and effective delivery of social media, advertising, creative, and web services to clients.
*Oversee, coach, and support functional managers from each department (i.e., social media, advertising, creative, and web) to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in the client’s best interests.
*Manage day-to-day operations of the agency, including staffing, budgeting, resource allocation, and operational KPIs.
*Collaborate with other departments in the hiring, training, and performance management of operational team members in alignment with the company’s growth and operational goals.
*Act as a leader and foster a positive and productive work environment by demonstrating.
*Act as a leader and problem-solver in unplanned situations, such as service disruptions or client complaints.
*Develop and maintain relationships with partners, such as technology partners and other marketing agencies, to expand the agency's service offerings where applicable.
*Facilitate seamless integration across different teams to ensure the successful execution of client projects which involve various teams.
*Continuously evaluate the agency's operations to identify areas for improvement, such as artificial intelligence, data privacy and compliance, industry trends, and changes.
Role requirements:
*At least 7 years of experience in an operations or project management role, preferably in a marketing agency.
*Experience managing and growing the operations of a marketing agency from less than 30 people to multiples in size.
*Proven track record of developing and implementing operational strategies that drive growth and efficiency in a professional services organization.
*Experienced in implementing performance metrics, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing guidance and support to team leaders.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, partners, and team members.
*Training and/ or working knowledge of Agile, Lean, and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
*Ability to manage budgets, resources, and operational KPIs.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
*In-depth knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in operations management and marketing.
*Responsible for providing leadership and direction to functional managers while fostering an environment that supports individual growth and high performance.
*Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).
