Responsibilities

On behalf of our client, a highly innovative Deep Tech startup, we are seeking a visionary Generative AI Software Engineer. Our client is developing a disruptive, high-fidelity simulation software poised to revolutionize industries like Aerospace, Energy, and Weather Forecasting. By combining groundbreaking numerical methods with next-generation GPU and Quantum Computing capabilities, they are creating a paradigm shift in industrial engineering. As a core member of the R&D team, you will not just be coding. You will be inventing the future of human-computer interaction for complex scientific applications. Your Mission: Building the Next-Generation AI Interface Your primary mission is to design and build a revolutionary Generative AI-powered User Interface from the ground up. The ambition is to move beyond traditional menus and buttons, creating an environment where complex simulations are driven by natural language and intelligent, self-learning agents. Your responsibilities will include: * Design & Development: Architect and develop the company's new GenAI User Interface, focusing on ergonomics, graphical excellence, and intuitive man-machine interactions. * AI Model Creation: Develop generative, self-learning, and agentic AI models using state-of-the-art libraries and tools (e.g., Mistral, Langchain). * Core Programming: Implement robust solutions in C, C++, or Python, with a strong focus on GPU-native programming to ensure maximum performance. * Validation & Research: Rigorously test and validate your developments, participate in leading scientific conferences in the fields of AI and CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering), and contribute to scientific papers. The Ideal Candidate Profile We are looking for a creative and passionate individual with a strong scientific and software development background. Essential Requirements: * A Master's degree or, ideally, a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a thesis focused on a relevant domain. * Proven experience in software development (not just scripting or usage), demonstrated by personal or professional projects. * Deep, programmatic knowledge of advanced Generative AI algorithms and their application. * Strong proficiency in C, C++, or Python. * Experience with GPU architecture and native GPU programming. * A genuine interest or background in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). What Our Client Offers * A Highly Competitive Package: A salary ranging from €70k to €200k supplemented with stock options and a comprehensive benefits package. * A Unique Scientific Challenge worldwide: Join a world-class team to build a technology that has no equivalent on the market. * An Inspiring Environment: Work from beautiful offices in Brussels, the heart of Europe, in a culture that fosters innovation, creativity, and excellence. Benefits * A Highly Competitive Package * A Unique Scientific Challenge worldwide * An Inspiring Environment Start of the contract 27/09/2025.
