Shipt, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Engineer to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and supporting business teams with technical presentations to explain how Shipt products and services integrate for success. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Engineering, or related field, along with 3 years of experience in a similar role. You should also have experience working with and presenting to business stakeholders, as well as proficiency in at least one common backend service language such as Golang, Python, Ruby, Java, or Rust. Responsibilities: - Prepare and support business teams with technical presentations to explain how Shipt products and services integrate for success. - Work with and present to business stakeholders. - Utilize at least one common backend service language (e.g., Golang, Python, Ruby, Java, or Rust). - Develop and maintain REST APIs. - Implement message queuing technologies and strategies. - Design and interact with complex persisted data models. - Identify and improve poor performing code or database queries.
