As an engineer at Quest Analytics, you will build the tools that give access to healthcare for millions.What you'll do:Contribute to the design and architecture of our platformHelp scale the platform and build new featuresDevelop novel algorithms to solve challenging problemsCreate tooling for data and process automationResearch and design for future tools and techniquesWhat it requires:A bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems & Technology, or a related technical degree program) or equivalent Software Engineering work experienceMinimum 7+ years of software development with Microsoft’s .NET Framework working at a commercial Software CompanyC#, including asynchronous and parallel programmingPerformance optimizations in C#SQL Server or other relational databasesDapper and/or Entity FrameworkPerformance optimizations in SQL (or other relational database) with large data volumes, including indexing and query plansNoSQL (MongoDB preferred)Cloud development (Azure preferred with Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, and Blob Storage)REST APIs: designing, building, and consumingFrontend web development (HTML, CSS/Sass and modern JavaScript frameworks – React preferred)Unit testing (XUnit preferred) and following SOLID principlesSource control systems (Git preferred)The ideal candidate for this role:Communicates effectively and works well within a teamWorked previously in an Agile, product-focused, and deadline-driven environmentCan translate high-level requirements into workable design, and deliver production-ready softwareTakes ownership of all personal outputWe are not currently engaging with outside agencies on this role.
