The Fraud Investigator role at GoCardless involves conducting fraud investigations to protect the company from fraud, financial, and reputational risk. The role requires monitoring the risk alert queue, conducting fraud investigations, and working with various teams across the business to ensure a seamless merchant experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fraud investigations role, use logic and reasoning to separate legitimate behavior from suspected illicit activity, and have strong written English skills to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. The role offers the opportunity to work in a newly built team, learn more about data and its use in making informed decisions, and collaborate with a global fraud team from a variety of industries. Responsibilities: - Monitor the risk alert queue and identify high-risk behavior within the business portfolio - Conduct fraud investigations within service level agreements to reduce potential revenue losses - Attain a thorough understanding of GoCardless’ product, policies, and processes - Lead on customer-facing correspondence and work with various teams across the business to ensure a seamless merchant experience
