As an initial step, Solugen is building its first commercial plant with a capacity of 10,000 tpy, with the potential to offset up to 37,000 tpy of carbon dioxide equivalents.The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for supporting the billing and collections process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, cash application, and account reconciliation. This role works closely with sales, customer service, and logistics teams to maintain strong customer relationships and support cash flow in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and issue customer invoices based on shipments, contracts, or sales ordersPerform cash application, including posting ACH, wire, check, and lockbox paymentsReconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepanciesMonitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balancesCommunicate with customers to resolve billing and payment issuesCoordinate with sales, logistics, and customer service to ensure accurate billing (pricing, quantities, freight, taxes)Maintain accurate customer master data and credit informationSupport month-end close, including AR reconciliations and reportingAssist with credit memos, adjustments, and deductionsEnsure compliance with company policies and internal controlsSupport audit requests and documentationQualificationsAssociate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (bachelor’s preferred)1–3 years of accounts receivable, billing, or accounting experienceExperience in manufacturing, chemicals, or industrial environment preferredFamiliarity with ERP system- NetSuiteModerate to Advanced Excel skillsSkills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage high-volume transactionsBasic understanding of accounting principlesStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work in a deadline-driven environmentProblem-solving skills, especially in resolving customer disputesPreferred QualificationsExperience with automated invoicing systemsExposure to credit and collections processesFamiliarity with freight, pricing, and contract-based billingWork EnvironmentOffice, remote or hybrid setting with frequent interaction with sales and operations teamsFast-paced environment with deadlines tied to billing cycles and cash collectionsSolugen is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
