Requirements and responsibilities

SolutionHealth is seeking a Director, Enterprise Epic Applications – Clinical to join our leadership team.🚨 This is not a “KTLO” role. This leader will shape the strategic direction, IT performance, and future evolution of our clinical applications portfolio—partnering closely with clinical, operational, and informatics leaders to ensure our technology supports safe, high-quality care.We are looking for someone uncomfortable with the status quo—someone who sees opportunity where others see constraints and is energized by modernization, optimization, and continuous improvement at scale.🧭 This role requires a leader who is comfortable operating in ambiguity. You will bring clarity where it does not exist, lead through complexity, and help leaders and teams navigate change with confidence and purpose.🌱 Equally important, this is a role for someone deeply committed to developing people. Success on my team is not just about outcomes—it is about building strong, accountable leaders, investing in staff growth, and creating an environment where teams thrive, adapt, and continuously improve.🔄 You will also advance Agile ways of working—supporting sprint-based delivery, improving flow, and shifting teams from output-driven execution to outcome-focused delivery across a complex portfolio. What makes this role unique:Fully remote with some travel required for occasional onsites or go-livesStrong preference for New England-based candidatesDeep engagement with Epic & integrated clinical systems across the care continuumGrowing a culture centered on partnership, accountability, and measurable outcomes tied to patient safety, clinician experience, and operational efficiencyWhat I am specifically looking for:Strong Epic experience with a multi-faceted certification portfolio and broad interoperability understandingDirector-level or equivalent leadership experience in highly complex, mature environments; able to lead at scale through other leadersLeadership style grounded in trust, accountability, and transparency, with a focus on developing leaders and driving shared ownershipExperience leading teams in Agile environments, including sprint-based deliveryA few important notes for candidates:All candidates will complete a Sphinx assessment as part of the interview processThis is a highly strategic, portfolio-level leadership role—not an individual contributor positionSuccess requires executive presence, strong partnership skills, and the ability to lead through uncertainty and drive sustained changeIf you are a dynamic change leader who thrives where transformation is expected—not optional—I would welcome the conversation. Please feel free to reach out directly or apply through the link below.
