Requirements and responsibilities

Responsibilities: - Lead and conduct technical and content SEO audits to identify site issues and opportunities across client accounts. - Own keyword research and local search strategy to inform content and optimization plans. - Create content and optimization calendars aligned with keyword strategy and business goals. - Optimize existing and new content according to SEO best practices and AI-readiness standards. - Create or refine content using Surfer SEO or similar tools for priority pages and clients. - Own Google Business Profile optimization, ensuring accurate NAP data, citation consistency, and ongoing GBP performance. - Oversee citation building and directory accuracy using BrightLocal or similar tools, leveraging support resources where appropriate. - Track SEO performance, keyword movement, and local search impact using ProRankTracker, GSC, and Looker Studio dashboards. - Implement and oversee on-site SEO improvements within CMS platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix). - Stay ahead of SEO trends, including AI-driven search changes, AEO, and local SERP shifts, and evolve Venveo’s approach accordingly. - Optimize local and on-page content for AI and answer engines, ensuring visibility in voice, conversational, and location-based search results. - Deliver monthly reports with actionable insights focused on lead generation, conversions, and measurable business impact. - Collaborate closely with Executive Strategist, Producer, Project Coordinator, and support resources to ensure smooth workflows, clear communication, and strong client delivery.
