Independent Learning Experience Designer (LXD) & eLearning Development ConsultantWe are seeking independent contractors to provide learning experience design and eLearning development services on a project or per hour basis, supporting customer education and product adoption initiatives.Scope of ServicesDesign and develop digital learning assets, including eLearning courses, microlearning, blended programs, and instructor-led materialsConduct learning needs analysis and recommend instructional strategies, formats, and sequencingCreate learning design documentation (objectives, outlines, storyboards, scripts, and assessments)Develop interactive eLearning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline and RiseProduce and integrate multimedia elements (audio, video, animation, graphics) as requiredPublish and test content for LMS delivery (e.g., SCORM/xAPI), ensuring functionality and tracking accuracyPerform quality assurance (QA) to validate usability, accessibility considerations, and design alignmentReview feedback and revise deliverables based on agreed project requirementsMaintain organized project files required to support delivery, revisions, and handoff per contractual requirementsCollaborate with client stakeholders as needed to gather inputs and validate learning requirementsCommunicate risks, assumptions, or scope considerations that may impact project deliveryMinimum Experience & CapabilitiesDemonstrated professional experience delivering learning design and eLearning development servicesWorking knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologiesProficiency with Articulate Storyline and Rise (Vyond experience preferred)Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet agreed milestones independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skills when working with client stakeholdersExperience developing learning for remote or distributed audiencesNice-to-haveAdobe After Effects experienceExperience with learning management systemsFamiliarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)LocationRemote (any city, province or state in the U.S.A & Canada)Engagement TypeIndependent ContractorCompensationHourly or fixed-fee arrangement, invoiced based on servicesTools and EquipmentContractor provides their own tools and workspace
