Location: Austin, TX (hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote).
Duration: 6+ months contract.
Job summary:
We are seeking experienced Cloud Solutions Architect 3 professionals to design, implement, and support enterprise cloud architectures. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, cloud-native application design, migrations, security, and advanced technologies including AI and machine learning across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure environments.
Key responsibilities:
* Design and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures.
* Plan and execute cloud migration strategies from on-premises to cloud.
* Architect solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS service models.
* Ensure cloud solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
* Monitor and optimize cloud performance, reliability, and cost.
* Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions.
* Provide technical guidance and best practices to IT teams.
* Support AI, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI initiatives.
* Develop reference architectures, runbooks, and technical documentation.
Required skills and experience:
* 10+ years architecting enterprise application solutions.
* 8+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud.
* 8+ years designing cloud-native application architectures.
* 8+ years working with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
* 8+ years of experience with AI, machine learning, and deep learning using AWS or Google technologies.
Preferred skills:
* Networking, including VPC or VNet, VPN, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls.
* Cloud security, IAM, encryption, and compliance standards such as HIPAA and GDPR.
* CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
* Programming or scripting using Python, Java, C#, or similar languages.
* API design using REST or SOAP, microservices, and serverless architectures.
* Cloud cost optimization and performance monitoring.
* Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Redshift, SageMaker, EMR, Kinesis, and Bedrock.
* Experience with Google AI services such as Vertex AI and Agent Builder.
* Cloud certifications from AWS, Azure, or Google.
Work schedule and conditions:
* Standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
* Hybrid role with 2 days onsite on Monday and Wednesday, and 3 days remote.
* Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required with prior approval.
