Job SummaryThe Cognitive Remediation Therapist provides evidence-based therapeutic services focused on improving cognitive functioning in patients with neurological conditions (e.g., TBI, stroke, neurodegenerative disorders, cognitive deficits). This role works collaboratively with neurologists, neuropsychologists, medical assistants, and support staff to deliver structured cognitive interventions that enhance attention, memory, executive function, and daily living skills.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive cognitive assessments and document baseline cognitive profiles.Develop personalized cognitive remediation treatment plans based on patient needs.Use structured interventions (computer-based and therapist-led) to improve cognitive skills.Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as appropriate.Provide education, support, and counseling to patients and caregivers about goals, progress, and cognitive health strategies.Collaborate closely with neurologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams.Maintain detailed clinical documentation and adhere to HIPAA and clinic quality standards.Participate in case review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of therapy protocols.QualificationsRequired:Master’s degree in psychology, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, or related therapeutic field.Full professional license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, OTR/L, SLP-CCC) or equivalent credentials as applicable in Texas.Demonstrated experience with cognitive therapy, cognitive remediation techniques, or neurorehabilitation.Strong documentation, assessment, and clinical communication skills.Preferred:Experience working with neurological populations (e.g., stroke, TBI, dementia).Additional certifications in cognitive rehabilitation or neuropsychological intervention.Skills and CompetenciesStrong interpersonal and motivational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.Proficient in clinical assessment tools and electronic health records (EHR).Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional growth.CompensationCompensation 85k to 100k
