Our culture is collegial and supportive, and we don’t believe in office politics.Who You AreYou are customer-oriented and believe professional services should be a partnership built on solid communication and proactive support.You thrive in fast-paced environments and are motivated to get things done and done well.You enjoy new challenges and believe you should leave situations and people better than you found them.What You’ll DoYou will work with our amazing client companies in a variety of industries and geographies, helping to build foundational HR programs, creating positive company cultures, and providing assistance and resources to their teams throughout the employee lifecycle.A Day in the LifeOnboarding and off-boarding team membersMaintaining employee files and process documentationRevising and updating company handbooksWorking with leaders to develop workplace policies that align with the goals of the businessProviding guidance to employees and managers with questions and concernsEnsuring compliance with applicable federal and state labor regulationsManaging employee leave, including FMLAAssisting with benefits enrollment and inquiriesCoordinating performance reviewsConducting workplace investigations, preparing reports as neededOversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system updatesHR Milestones Under Your BeltA minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experienceA consulting mindset with excellent communication skills and a focus on customer serviceIn-depth knowledge of HR processes, best practices, and complianceExcellent problem-solving abilities, with the ability to keep digging until you find the answerExperience working with multi-state companies/clients preferred.Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experiencePHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferredWhat We OfferMilestone offers competitive compensation and benefits, paid time away from work benefits, and a flexible work environment.Milestone is an equal-opportunity employer.
