About Company and Role:
The client is a specialized manufacturer of industrial cleaning compounds used by plastic converters companies that produce plastic products by injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, etc.
Despite strong brand recognition and consistent inbound demand, the company has significant untapped growth potential in the North American market, especially Mexico. This role is designed to unlock that opportunity through proactive outbound outreach.
You will be a dedicated cold calling and sales development hire, working directly with leadership. This is a high-impact position where your performance directly drives revenue growth. The role begins with lead generation and cold calling but has a clear path toward full-cycle sales responsibility and long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound cold calls (30–40+ per day) to plastic manufacturing companies in Mexico to start.
- Potentially, you will call prospects in the US and Canada as well.
- Research and identify target companies, decision-makers, and contact information.
- Initiate conversations with plant managers, process engineers, process technicians, and machine operators.
- Qualify prospects by identifying operational challenges (scrap, waste, efficiency).
- Introduce the client solutions and secure agreement for free product samples.
- Coordinate sample requests and gather necessary technical details.
- Serve as a bilingual intermediary between Spanish-speaking clients and U.S.-based sales engineers.
- Translate basic technical information and facilitate communication when needed.
- Log all activities, interactions, and updates in the company’s web-based CRM.
- Maintain organized records of prospects, samples, and follow-ups.
- Build relationships and nurture leads through the early stages of the sales cycle.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Fluent English (clear communication with U.S. team via calls and email).
- Native or near-native Mexican Spanish.
- Strong comfort with cold calling and outbound sales.
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain high call volume daily.
- Self-starter with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to research and find contact information independently.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and basic digital tools.
- Strong organizational and data entry skills.
- Willingness to learn technical product details and industry terminology.
- Reliable, consistent, and accountable in a remote work environment.
