About the Role:We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team who has end-to-end ownership to build a quality product. Through automation and functional testing, they validate a variety of products to offer our customers a seamless banking experience. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will work directly with our product teams and will participate in application specification reviews and architectural design sessions by providing input from a quality standpoint. You will also identify testing strategies for various features and functionalities. Within your first year, you will develop an understanding of how to deliver high performing software at pace of development. You will work in an environment that promotes ownership at all levels including configuring and monitoring apps in production.This is a fully remote, long-term contract position open to candidates based in LATAM.What You’ll Do: Develop test automation at the pace of feature development utilizing AI tools and our functional and performance test frameworksUtilize LLMs to create feature test plans and internal knowledge stores for streamlining AI tools usage for Automation and Deep testing effortsDefine custom AI workflows to enable all developers to test new features using existing automation tests, evaluate test failures, and troubleshoot environment issuesExecute functional/performance tests by spinning up disposable environments on demand to deploy microservices with different versions and configurations, and customize database contentCustomize, configure, patch services, and deploy infrastructure and code changes all the way through to productionAnalyze log files and troubleshoot production issues by automating and reproducing them in a non-production environmentCollaborate with QA platform to create solutions for feature validations and test automation for your productWhat We Look For:Ability to develop test automation in Java using Selenium/Playwright to utilize Integrated Development environments (IDE) such as IntelliJ or Eclipse, with and without Coding assistantsExperience in deploying services in various environments such as Kubernetes, using deployment tools like ArgoCD and JenkinsCapability to improve efficiency of existing test infrastructure using Docker, Playwright and headless browser executionsFamiliarity with log aggregators such as SumoLogic or Kibana, and app monitoring tools such as Honeycomb or GrafanaPassion for automating tests and delivering high quality features in a fast paced environmentComfortable working in Agile methodologyEnvironmental & Working ConditionsWork is performed indoors in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established workflows, schedules, and service expectations.Employees regularly input, retrieve, and exchange information accurately using digital systems and applications to support operational and customer service objectives.The role requires the ability to receive and exchange information with customers, peers, supervisors, and cross-functional partners through available communication channels, which may include meetings, email, phone, and digital collaboration tools, and may involve real-time, verbal, or in-person exchanges depending on business need.Job duties may involve managing a high volume of inbound and/or outbound customer interactions and work activities using telecommunications and computer systems. The role requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret information displayed on computer screens and remain in a working posture for extended periods, consistent with the demands of the position.Work may be performed in a contact center, office, or remote environment, depending on business needs and the nature of the role. Onsite work environments may include shared workspaces, standard office lighting, and moderate background noise typical of customer service or operational settings.Employees working remotely are responsible for maintaining a secure and productive workspace with reliable internet connectivity that supports company systems and safeguards the confidentiality of company and customer information.
