Responsibilities
We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure's modern data stack to join our team at Asinpa. If you're passionate about building scalable data pipelines, enabling AI applications, and working with cutting-edge cloud technologies, we would love to hear from you!Location: Remote, candidate must reside in Mexico (preferably in the Guadalajara, Monterrey, Hermosillo, Querétaro, Mazatlán, Durango, or Guanajuato areas).Occasional travel may be required based on client needs (approximately 15–20 days per year), plus periodic visits to the Frisco office for in-person collaboration, team alignment, and strategic meetings with Asinpa leadership.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Document Intelligence to process and extract structured data from emails and attachmentsDevelop and manage ELT/ETL processes within a lakehouse architecture using Azure Databricks and Microsoft FabricSupport integration of external and internal data sources through APIs ManagementEnsure data quality, lineage, and compliance using Azure Purview and Azure Data CatalogSupport Power BI reporting, KPI dashboards, and executive analyticsAutomate and orchestrate data workflows through CI/CD and DevOps best practicesCollaborate with AI/ML teams leveraging Azure OpenAI for intelligent data enrichmentMonitor pipelines and scheduled jobs, troubleshoot failures, and conduct QA testing prior to production releaseTech Stack: Python (Pandas, PySpark), SQL/T-SQL, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, Azure Functions, Event Grid, GitHub, DevOpsIf you or someone in your network is a great fit, feel free to send your profile details to fernandacortes@asinpa.com
