We are searching for a Lead Skilled Trades Recruiter who enjoys variety in their day and thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our dynamic, innovative, and winning team. This high-volume recruiting role works with local contractors, subcontractors, and other businesses to bring quality skilled trades professionals to projects and jobsites.Bilingual PreferenceSpanish-speaking/bilingual candidates are strongly preferred.We are open to strong non-bilingual candidates; however, they must have the required skilled trades and traveler recruiting experience.ResponsibilitiesImplement cost-effective recruitment functions, including locating and visiting outside centers of recruitment, processing field employee and customer referrals, and weekly contact with inactive field employeesMaintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidatesContact potentially qualified candidates for specific job openingsExecute local recruitment programs and provide information about the Company and its opportunitiesWrite and place job advertising using various media platformsCoordinate participation in events, set up displays, and present at job fairs, schools, and organizationsComplete all phases of the Associate Hiring ProcessAssist with assignment follow-up visits to ensure customer satisfaction is being met, safety guidelines are being followed, and associate satisfaction including conducting all required Quality Assurance Process steps during customer site visitsHandle all applicant phone traffic, schedule appointments, administer pre-employment assessments, and coordinate application paperwork; administer post-offer drug screens and conduct applicant background checks; conduct safety and new hire orientation for all associate new hiresPerform additional responsibilities as requiredQualificationsAssociate Degree in a related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred2 years’ experience in recruiting, customer service, and/or salesSkilled trades recruiting experience is required.Must have experience recruiting and engaging traveling skilled trades professionals.Must understand how to effectively sell per diem opportunities, particularly for positions located in remote or hard-to-fill markets.Should understand what motivates traveling trades professionals and how to position the full opportunity, including pay, per diem, location, assignment details, and travel expectations.Construction industry knowledge and/or experience preferredAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressureHighest commitment to customer service, development, and satisfactionStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeedProficient in Microsoft Office Suite software programs and internet including job boards and social mediaValid Driver's License and a car that can be used for workWork Environment and Physical DemandsEmployee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move 25 pounds.This position requires local travel.Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience and geographic location plus eligibility for incentive pay, subject to plan terms.
