We’re not hiring a parts changer.
We’re looking for a high-performance, customer-facing technical rock star who lives and breathes fiber laser technology — someone who can troubleshoot a tube laser in the morning, optimize nesting on a flat sheet system in the afternoon, and train a fabrication team before dinner.

🎯 What You’ll Do
🔧 Elite-Level Field Service
Diagnose and repair tube and flat fiber laser systems (electrical, mechanical, CNC, servo, laser source, chiller, optics)
Troubleshoot CNC controls and motion systems
Perform installations, commissioning, and preventive maintenance
Collaborate with factory engineering on escalated technical cases
Keep machines cutting — because downtime is not an option
⚙️ Application Engineering Excellence
Optimize cutting parameters for carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, and specialty materials
Develop and refine tube processing applications (round, square, structural shapes)
Support nesting optimization and cycle time reduction
Assist customers in maximizing throughput and part quality
Train operators, programmers, and maintenance teams

Be the calm, confident expert in high-pressure situations
Provide clear technical communication and documentation
Build long-term relationships based on trust and results
Represent our company as a technical leader in the field
🧠 What You Bring
5+ years experience with fiber laser cutting systems (tube and/or flat)
Strong CNC control knowledge (Fanuc, Siemens, Beckhoff, or similar)
Servo systems and motion control experience
Electrical troubleshooting (schematics, PLC I/O, drives)
Mechanical aptitude (alignment, ball screws, gear racks, etc.)
Experience optimizing laser parameters and applications
Ability to travel within assigned territory (and occasionally beyond)
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience with high-power fiber lasers (6kW–20kW+)
Tube laser automation knowledge (loaders, unloaders, bundle systems)
CAD/CAM or nesting software experience
Remote diagnostics experience
