This fulltime role will work days. Ideal candidate will have the Epic Security certification and the Provider SER badge. Open to fully remote work.Current List of non-MN States where Hennepin Healthcare is an Eligible Employer: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin.Purpose of this position: Under general supervision, support the IS&T team in maintaining Epic system and associated applications with integration/interfaces with Epic.RESPONSIBILITIES:Research to develop, configure, and modify moderate to high complexity "break fix" solutions in EpicCreate documentation of buildReview, build, test, debug, and document progress of Epic issues in partnership with the TS utilizing the SLG process and release notesParticipate in testing phases of associated applications during implementations and upgradesDevelop strong relationships with end user communities, customers, and business partnersProvide Epic content expert support for applications with integration/interfaced systemsIdentify opportunity for process/system improvements by adopting new Epic functionalityProvide regular and/or off hour on call support as scheduledPerform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Qualifications:3 years relevant of comprehensive professional experience working in the electronic health record, EpicAssociates of Arts (AA) or Bachelor’s degree -OR- An approved equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience developing technical/systems design specifications and building system solutionsAbility to provide customer focused service and communicate the value of proposed solutionsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Ability to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changes in organizational or department prioritiesDemonstrated analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and conflict resolution skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize tasksAbility to explain or demonstrate technology in a manner suited to the audienceLicense/Certifications:1 Current Epic Certification -OR- 1 Current Epic Accreditation -OR- 1 Current Epic Proficiency Self-study -OR- 1 Current Epic ProficiencyYou've made the right choice in considering Hennepin Healthcare for your employment.
