About the roleWe're looking for a Data Analyst to join our Ops Intelligence function and make sure RLS's operational data and reporting never depends on any single person. You'll pull, clean, and structure operational data, maintain dashboards and reporting hygiene, and document how everything works as you learn it. The goal is a function built on systems and documentation rather than on any one person's memory, so RLS's visibility into its own operations holds up over time regardless of who's on the team. This role is built around being a genuine Claude Master: someone who can direct AI tools to do the heavy lifting on data work, verify the output, and turn raw numbers into something leadership can actually use, without needing a deep technical or data-science background to start. What you'll doPull and structure data from our operational systems (ATS, CRM, Monday.com, Bloom Growth) for recurring metrics: close rate, retention, escalations, and others as the function grows; using Claude to clean and QA the data before it reaches leadershipMaintain dashboards and in-system metrics, catching blanks, duplicates, and inconsistencies proactively, not after someone else noticesDocument every recurring report and dashboard as you learn it: data source, calculation logic, refresh cadence, and known quirks; building a shared, living knowledge base so the reporting function doesn't depend on any one person's memory, including your ownUse Claude to build lightweight automations for repetitive reporting tasks (e.g., drafting the weekly metrics update, structuring a monthly retention breakdown), reducing manual work over timeTake on specific diagnostic requests, like breaking a funnel metric into stage-by-stage data or prepping clean numbers ahead of a stakeholder session: using Claude to do first-pass structuring and analysisSupport the Weekly Leadership Dashboard by ensuring the underlying data is pulled, cleaned, and refreshed ahead of each reporting cycleFlag data gaps and quality issues directly rather than quietly working around them: if something isn't tracked cleanly, that's a finding to raise, not a problem to hideWhat we're looking forComfortable directing AI tools (like Claude) to do real work, not just chatting with them: this role is about verified output, not novelty useStrong attention to detail: you notice a blank cell or a mismatched number before it becomes someone else's problemClear, organized written communication: you can document a process well enough that someone else could follow it without asking you a follow-up questionComfortable working with spreadsheets and dashboards; prior exposure to tools like Monday.com, CRMs, or ATS platforms is a plus but not requiredNo data-science background required: we're looking for someone who can direct the analysis, verify it, and know when a number needs a second look before it goes to leadershipSelf-starter who documents as they go rather than waiting until something is "fully understood" to write it downWhat success looks likeDays 1–30: You've learned the core data sources and tools, and you're documenting from day one: writing down each report as you learn it, not waiting until it's fully understoodDays 31–60: You've taken full ownership of 2–3 recurring reports end-to-end and built your first Claude-assisted automation for a repetitive taskDays 61–90: You're owning the routine reporting cadence independently and can handle a new ad hoc data request end-to-end using Claude as your primary toolLong term: 100% of recurring reports and dashboards are documented and readable by someone outside your own head, dashboards run clean with zero blanks or broken links at any weekly check, and a periodic handoff test, where you step away for a defined period, passes with no drop in reporting continuityWhat we offerFully remote position with a flexible work scheduleCompetitive base salaryAnnual performance bonusAnniversary loyalty bonusesCompany-sponsored health insuranceGenerous PTO that increases with tenure (up to 30 days per year)Birthday PTO day7 U.S. paid holidays5 paid sick days per yearBereavement leaveAdditional unpaid personal leave availableHome office stipend for equipment and workspace upgradesComputer replacement stipendMonthly internet allowance (increases with tenure)Professional development and training programsEducation support for high performersA collaborative, supportive team culture where people are genuinely invested in each other's successA fast-moving environment where your work has real visibility and direct impactClear path to growth: we promote from within and reward people who performHow our hiring process works:We are a fully remote company, and our hiring process reflects that.
