Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy startup on a mission to deliver a terawatt of renewable energy – fast. We're combining first-principles thinking with cutting-edge technology to build a radically better energy system. We raised $210M from top-tier investors including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, Box Group and strategic angels like Nico Rosberg, the Co-Founder of Solana and GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify, Uber and more. We're creating a fully integrated energy company: from developing renewable generation and grid infrastructure to powering the next generation of AI and compute-intensive industries. But we’re not stopping there. We’re also building the Energy Network: a decentralised platform of smart devices to electrify our homes, shifting usage to off-peak hours and helping balance the grid. This network strengthens grid stability - a critical foundation for scaling AI data centers and other energy-intensive industries. As AI drives unprecedented demand for power and data center capacity, the bottleneck is no longer chips – it is energy, grid infrastructure, and the ability to deliver new capacity at speed. We are looking for a Data Center Development Lead to help solve that problem. You will be responsible for taking data center projects from concept through to Ready-to-Build and energisation. You will own the technical and development workstreams required to transform a site from an opportunity into a deliverable project. You will work across site selection, power strategy, grid connections, planning, engineering, design development, permitting, utility engagement, and delivery readiness. This is a highly technical role for someone who understands both infrastructure development and engineering.
