ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Senior .NET (WPF) Developer in Ukraine or Poland.ABOUT PROJECTOur client is one of the largest British-American insurance brokers globally, specializing in risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and investment banking solutions.REQUIREMENTS5+ years of experience with WPF development3.5+ years of experience with C# developmentStrong knowledge of .NET FrameworkAbility to develop new and update existing WPF UIExperience fixing, extending, and developing custom WPF controlsGood understanding of multithreaded programmingAbility to understand, debug, and modify existing codeAbility to work independently with limited supervisionAbility to handle multitasking activitiesExperience with Git, Jira, and Visual StudioAt least Upper-Intermediate level of EnglishNICE TO HAVEBasic knowledge of PythonBasic knowledge of C++TCP Sockets programmingRESPONSIBILITIESDevelop new functionality and maintain existing featuresParticipate in both new development and support activities (approximately 50/50)Design, develop, and enhance WPF user interfacesCreate and extend custom WPF controlsInvestigate and resolve software defectsAnalyze and modify existing codebaseCollaborate with a mature team to deliver high-quality solutionsParticipate in daily communication with the customer teamContribute to maintaining a worldwide enterprise-level product
