The OpportunityThe HR Generalist, People Operations is responsible for supporting the day-to-day support of people operations and human resources of the organization. This role serves as an essential point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of core People Operations processes across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, service-oriented self-starter, and experienced in administering People Operations programs while providing consistent and professional employee support.What You'll DoCore HR OperationsServe as a key resource for employee questions related to policies, benefits, timekeeping, payroll, and HR processesAdminister day-to-day HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and record maintenanceMaintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentialityAssist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiriesEmployee Relations & ComplianceSupport employee relations matters by providing guidance on policies, escalating issues as appropriate, and documenting interactionsAssist with investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance documentation in partnership with the Vice President of People Operations and executive leadershipEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policiesMaintain and update employment policies, procedures, and handbook materials as neededRecruiting & Onboarding SupportCoordinate onboarding logistics including offer letters, background checks, new hire paperwork, and orientation schedulingSupport recruiting efforts by communicating with candidates and assisting hiring managers as neededPerformance & EngagementAssist with performance review cycles, employee engagement initiatives, and training coordinationSupport employee development programs and learning initiativesReporting & Process ImprovementPrepare and maintain HR reports related to headcount, turnover, compliance, and operational metricsIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and employee experienceOther DutiesAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics standardsPerform other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needsAuthorized Remote Locations: Strong Preference for candidate local to Austin, Texas areaAL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, NC, SC, TX, UTWork Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm CSTSalary Range: $77,000-$95,000/year (Exempt/Salaried)What We Are Looking For:5+ years relevant People Operations or Human Resources experience with hands-on responsibility for daily HR administration, including involvement in employee relationsWorking knowledge of multi-state HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirementsExperience working with HRIS, payroll, and benefits platformsHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to maintain discretion with confidential and sensitive informationAbility to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attentional to detailInternal Applicants: Must meet minimum qualifications and have no recent disciplinary actionsWhat We Prefer to Find:PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCPBachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or related fieldPrior experience in a related field or industry (e.g. mortgage lending, banking, finance, real estate, etc.)About Visio LendingVisio Lending is the nation’s leader in rental home financing.
